Cooper Green is thrilled to announce that we will be building a new, state-of-the-art building! The new building will go where the existing parking deck sits, and demolition of the current deck is set to begin in August of 2021.
We understand that these growing pains may not be easy, but this will benefit all of our patients for many years to come. Please know that we are here for you and we will answer every question as thoroughly and as quickly as we can. Where should I park? The patient parking lot will be at 1319 5th Avenue South Birmingham, AL, 35233, across from the Jefferson County Department of Health.
What will parking cost? Parking in this lot will be free for patients and families.
How will I get to the facility from the parking lot? Free transportation from the parking lot will be provided for patients. A UAB bus will run between the lot and Cooper Green’s front door. The bus will be clearly mark and the ride will take approximately 4 minutes.
What do I need to do if I have COVID-19 symptoms? If you are coming to Urgent Care and have COVID-19 symptoms, or have a recent close exposure to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please do not ride the bus. Instead, call Urgent Care at 205-930-3265 for further instructions.
